The Scan Subfolders button (Feature only available in the Deluxe edition) will look
through all the subfolders and add all the items it finds. If you're trying to
rename files that are in several directories, this is what you could press to
bring them all together and rename them all at once. It works on
Folders as well as Files. All - Selects all files in the
list Inverse - Selects the opposite
of whatever is currently checked. So, if a file is not checked, it will become
checked, and one if already checked, it will become unchecked. None - This will uncheck all files
in the list Preview - This is one of the most
important buttons in File Renamer. It is strongly
recommended to preview all operations before
clicking the apply button. The Preview button will show you what will happen
without any changes taking effect. Apply - When you click Apply, the
actions you have specified will be applied. This is the button you press to
actually rename your files. It is strongly
recommended to Preview your
changes before clicking apply, that gives you the ability to make sure
everything looks correct.

Undo - This allows you to undo a rename operation if you made a mistake. (only available in the Deluxe edition)
Exit - Exits the program
